We've been working with communities to develop a deep understanding of adult social care in Lochaber.

This work set out to understand Adult Social Care in Lochaber, but quickly became something broader. By bringing together different forms of knowledge, it offers insight into how support really functions across services, communities and everyday life.

Understanding Adult Social Care in Lochaber: What Became Visible brings together lived experience, community insight, operational knowledge and data to develop a richer understanding of how support works across Lochaber. Rather than focusing only on services, it reveals a much wider system shaped by relationships, communities, and everyday acts of care.
