Pauline joined In Control Scotland in 2021, after working for community organisations and support providers for almost twenty years. She started her career as a youth worker and support worker, and began her Self-Directed Support journey in 2013 when she worked on a national project that introduced people and providers to the new legislation through training and learning events. Pauline has lead teams working on service development, practice and quality, income generation, communications, and policy, spanning a wide range of social care groups including disability, homelessness, and youth services. She is a proud trustee of YWCA Scotland – The Young Women’s Movement, and Loop Theatre CIC. Pauline lives just outside Glasgow with her husband, two dogs and tortoise.
