I am looking very dapper as I have the same dementia as Terry Pratchett. Before my diagnosis I worked on the shop floor of Care, however being me I used to get involved in decisions. This was in England when SDS was in its infancy. I am a keen campaigner: in the 1980’s I chained myself to bulldozers at weekends over Climate Change whilst during the week I was a Benefit Fraud Officer, both sides laughed but nowadays probably get the sack. Fun fact; my first job was polishing Smarties at Rowntrees in the 1970’s and we literally got a handful of Vaseline in our bare hands and threw it onto the sweets as the binding agent; obviously very different now.
