Person Centred Planning Academy
We are thrilled to announce that In Control Scotland have been successful in securing funding from The Alliance Self Management Fund. This 3 year funding package will allow us to create a Person-Centred Planning Academy of disabled adults and unpaid carers to deliver person-centred plans for disabled young people.

In November 2023 In Control Scotland commissioned one of our Associates, Lou Close to undertake some research into Emerging Practice in SDS Option 3. This project sought to understand where the approach to commissioning and providing care under option 3 has shifted in line with this aspiration; what has been required to enable this shift and what can be learned, shared and scaled up to ensure that people living across Scotland can expect a similar level of flexibility and person-centred support, even when they choose option 3.
