The final session of Working Together for Change 2024/2025 programme has now taken place, and we were delighted at what a wonderful programme this has been! We got together in person in Perth for our last session on 20th March, where our participants were buzzing and excited to present their change ideas and what fantastic presentations they were! All the work our participants have been doing over the last six months has really shone through in the change ideas they presented. We can't wait to see how their ideas develop over the coming months and how they put their ideas into practice. It was the most amazing feeling to watch each of our individual participants collect their graduation certificates at the end of the programme and we now look forward to welcoming them into our graduate network and working together to do some great things in the future.......
Here is what a few of our graduates said about the programme:
-
"This was a really good course, staff were lovely, helpful and approachable"
-
"Having a wide range of individuals with different backgrounds and experience has been really beneficial and hopefully this mix continues for future groups"
-
"This group has been so inspiring and given me so much knowledge and insight into SDS, I'm hoping to continue the fight! Helping me speak out and listening to others stories"
-
"Really valuable to understand how to influence change and the importance of networking and building connections"
We will be sharing information our 2025-2026 programme soon!

In November 2023 In Control Scotland commissioned one of our Associates, Lou Close to undertake some research into Emerging Practice in SDS Option 3. This project sought to understand where the approach to commissioning and providing care under option 3 has shifted in line with this aspiration; what has been required to enable this shift and what can be learned, shared and scaled up to ensure that people living across Scotland can expect a similar level of flexibility and person-centred support, even when they choose option 3.
