PLACE-BASED CHANGE and
co-production

HOW WE WORK
We believe people should have a meaningful role in shaping the decisions that affect their lives.
Co-production is not a single project or programme. It is how we work. Across our programmes, training, research and improvement activity, we bring together people with lived experience, unpaid carers, communities and organisations to learn from one another and create better solutions together.
GET INVOLVED
We are building a growing network of people with lived experience who want to contribute their skills, insight and experience to projects, improvement work and opportunities for change.
Whether you're interested in sharing your experiences, helping shape services, contributing to research or supporting the development of new ideas, we'd love to hear from you.
GET SUPPORT
We've supported organisations across Scotland to involve people with lived experience in ways that are meaningful, inclusive and impactful.
Whether you're designing a new service, improving an existing programme, developing policy or looking to strengthen your approach to co-production, we can help. Our team brings practical experience of participation, facilitation, co-production and systems change, working alongside people and organisations to create better outcomes together.
START SOMEWHERE
Practical resources for people who want to create change where they are
Change doesn't have to start with a new strategy, a large programme or a complete redesign of a system. Sometimes it starts with a conversation, a relationship or a small step that helps people move forward together.
Start Somewhere is a growing collection of free resources for people interested in place-based change, community-led action and creating better outcomes alongside the people most affected by decisions. Whether you're working in a community, organisation or partnership, these resources are designed to help you get started, experiment, learn and build momentum.
